Christine Teeters, soprano

Soprano Christine Teeters began her vocal studies at the University of Central Oklahoma in 1998 and moved to Boston in 2003 for graduate work at The Boston Conservatory, where she received her Masters in Opera in 2005 under the tutelage of William Cotton, Sanford Sylvan and Kirsten Cairns. Her credits include: The Monitor and Mother Abbess in Suor Angelica, Ensemble in Carmen with the American Repertory Theater in association with the Tony Award winning Theatre de la Jeune Lune under director Dominique Serrand, Brunelda in Amerikaa musical play based on a Kafka novel also at the ART in association with Jeune Lune, Lady Billows in Albert Herring, Maketaten in Akhnaten, Dying Juana Inez de la Cruz in With Blood, With Ink, Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, and various scene work including Liu from Turandot, Mimi from La Bohème and Pamina from The Magic Flute. With Boston Opera Collaborative she has participated in scenes programs and materclasses. Ms. Teeters studies voice with Douglas Kevin Wilson.

On the business side of things, Ms. Teeters also filled the position of Production Chair and Artistic Director in BOC's inaugural productions.
